Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. They are used to remember state, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.

We also use browser local storage for session-specific data like your current adventure state. Local storage works similarly to cookies but stays on your device.

We use a small number of essential cookies only:

• Session cookie: keeps you signed in while you play. Without this cookie the service cannot function. It expires when you close your browser or after 30 days of inactivity.
• CSRF token: a security cookie that protects form submissions from cross-site request forgery. It is required for any action that changes data.
• Plan and feature flags: stores your plan level so the app can show the right features without an extra server request on every page.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies that track you across third-party sites, or any cookie that collects behavioral data for marketing.

During an active play session, we store your current adventure state (the current beat, your typed input, and pending voice data) in browser local storage. This data is temporary and is cleared when the session ends.

We do not use local storage for tracking or advertising.

Our payment processor (Stripe) may set cookies on pages where you manage billing. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy.

We do not embed third-party advertising or social media scripts that set tracking cookies.

If we add third-party analytics in future, we will update this policy and seek your consent first.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies from specific sites.

Blocking the session cookie or CSRF token will prevent sign-in and most features from working. We cannot offer a cookie-free version of the signed-in service.

Blocking cookies from our payment processor will prevent access to the billing page.
