What we keep and what you control
A plain explanation of what Lorekeeper stores about you, what rights you have, and where to go to exercise them.
See what we store
Your account information (name, email, plan status) and campaign data (party, inventory, location, quest log, session summary) are the main things we hold. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. We do not build advertising profiles.
Export your data
Adventurer and Guild subscribers can export their campaigns any time from account settings. The export includes the campaign summary, party state, quest log, and session beat log in a readable format. Free plan holders can email us to request an export.
Correct your data
You can update your name and email in account settings. If something looks wrong that you cannot fix there, email us and we will correct it within 14 days.
Delete your account
Close your account from account settings. Personal information and campaign data are removed from active systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups rotate out within 90 days. Deletion is permanent.
What lives on our servers
Account
- Your name and email address, to identify your account and contact you.
- A hashed password, never stored in plain text.
- Plan and billing status, to gate features correctly.
- Account creation date and last login time.
Campaign data
- The campaign record: party members, inventory, current location, quest threads.
- A rolling summary of the story so far, updated each beat.
- The full session beat log, used to render your campaign history.
- Content settings (tone and intensity) per campaign.
Usage and logs
- Session counts and feature usage, to enforce plan limits.
- Server request logs, retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
- Error events, to diagnose problems. These do not include story content.
What we do not store
- Plain-text passwords at any point.
- Payment card numbers or full billing details (handled by our payment processor).
- Behavioral tracking data or cross-site browsing information.
- Voice recordings after transcription. We transcribe your speech and discard the audio.
Controls are in your account settings
Export, delete, and update your data directly from account settings once you are signed in. No need to contact us for the most common requests.
